Additionally, all properties already known must be denoted as usual (symbol of hazard; R-/S-phrases). Since according to § 5 Chemikaliengesetz a classification is only necessary when the production per year exceeds 100 kg (for scientific use and development only) or 10 kg, respectively, (all other purpose) practically all compounds prepared in the university with unknown hazardous potential may be labelled with this phrase.
